Tenor ukulele

Between 1995 and 1998 I built 200 six or eight string tenor ukulele for Collier Thelen at Music Exchange Hilo in this style. It is the classic Kamaka/Gibson shape and the old mold I built back in 1995 is still going strong!  Standard for 2010 onwards is a slotted headstock. Please specify if you want a flat headstock...

There is not much to say about this instrument except that it has 3 sitka spruce fan braces and a spruce bridge plate, can be fitted with either a pin or tie bridge and is ideal for all that modern stuff played by the likes of James Hill... Super satin finish is standard as is the premium Big Island koa, Gaboon ebony or African blackwood fingerboard and bridge. Pearl markers and bone nut and saddle just about tie up this description.
